Our Off the Shelf festival has grown into one of the largest literary festivals in the UK, attracting some of the best known names in literature and media to Sheffield each year. The festival programme is wide ranging and offers over 200 events for all ages.
Sheffield also has a vibrant music scene. Two of our biggest music festivals are Tramlines and Music in the Round. Music in the round also hosts a series of activities and concerts throughout the year. You will find a host of choirs, operatic societies and music groups in this section.
The impressive interactive museums and art galleries in the city, such as Weston Park, the Millennium Galleries, and the Graves Gallery host major exhibitions and are wonderful places to while away the hours.
