Sheffield Association for the Voluntary Teaching of English (SAVTE)

SAVTE is a Sheffield based charity that trains and supports volunteers to teach English to people in their homes and at community-based conversation clubs.

Sheffield Bladerunners Baseball (Adult & Juniors) and Softball Club

From April - outdoor training on Thursdays between 6pm - 830pm. League Games played on Sundays
We offer baseball and softball for male/female, over 14 to no upper age limit, any level of athletic ability welcome and no experience needed. We also offer under 14, boys and girls 'coach pitch' baseball.

Sheffield Mind provides mental health advice and support to people in the city. We offer a wide range of services including counselling, art therapy, bereavement support, one to one help in the home and community, peer support groups for men and women and information about local services and sources of support

Sheffield Young Carers (SYC)

We offer support to children and young people aged 8-25 who live in Sheffield and are young carers. Being a young carer means they provide care for one or more family members who have disabilities, long-term physical illnesses, and/or mental health difficulties. They may be providing physical, personal, financial and/or emotional care. We also offer support to children and young people aged 8-25 who live in Sheffield and are affected by drug and alcohol issues in their family (now or in the past).

Open Friday 6pm until 10pm
Steel City Wargaming Group play tabletop miniature games including Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, Bolt Action, X-Wing, Armada and many others. As well as gaming, there is a dedicated painting area where you can build or paint or just come down for a chat. The group members aged from 10 to 50 years and over, ranging from beginners to experts.

Whirlow Hall Farm Trust

Provision for post sixteen clients with additional learning needs. 9:30am-3pm, Monday to Friday, fifty weeks of the year. Caring for the farm animals, planting and growing crops, independent living skills, cooking sessions, work experience in our shop and café, natural art and craft sessions, Yoga, AQA unit awards, on-site residential stays, all in a peaceful farm and countryside environment.
