Advice and information
Our Cancer Buddies are a group of trained volunteers who have either had cancer themselves or have cared for someone with cancer who can phone you or meet face to face to offer some additional support. Because they have been in a similar situation, they can understand what it is like to deal with a cancer diagnosis as a patient or as a partner or family member. This support is free.
At Cavendish Cancer Care we support local people who are living with cancer. We give them and their families the chance to talk in confidence and offer complementary therapies and counselling. Our service is free. We aim to see people within 5 days.
