Homeless and Rootless At Christmas provide food, shelter, entertainment and some services such as podiatry, hairdressing and a clothing store, to vulnerable homeless and rootless people over the Christmas and New Year period. A registered charity, the service is completely funded by voluntary donations. Donations welcome.

Lansdowne Tenants and Residents Association (TARA) is a group of volunteers whose aim is to provide a collective voice for all residents, benefit the whole community through social activities, improve the environment and well-being of the area and liaise with relevant authorities on tenants and residents issues.
LiveWell at Home is a free service for anyone aged 55 or over who lives in Sheffield. Our aim is to enable older people in Sheffield to live independently in their own home. We offer a range of flexible support on anything related to housing or health, including: support following discharge from hospital; advice on how to maximise income, apply for grants and benefits, and manage debt; finding a new home, including help to move; a 17-point ‘Home Check’; mental health; loneliness and isolation, help to quit smoking and cut down on alcohol.
