Sheffield Mind - Firvale Springboard (Aspiring Communities Together)

This Springboard is aimed at women in the local community who may have low mood, self-esteem issues and is looking for a social outlet and a sense of structure. Low level mental health support is also available through a Sheffield Mind worker - please note, this is not counselling.

South Yorkshire Service for Deaf People with Mental Health Needs

The service is part of the NHS and works in conjunction with Mental Health Teams in South Yorkshire to assess and support the needs of deaf people with secondary mental health needs who are British Sign Language users. The service will also provide consultation to teams in relation to deaf people who do not sign but may have complex communication needs, possibly due to their mental health.
