Advice and information
Help to maintain independent living at home for older people. The service provides up to three months of free support, maximising income levels, advocating for aids and adaptations at home, and providing links to appropriate local groups and activities.
Our information and advice service is accredited to the Advice Quality Standard. We are particular specialists in older people’s benefits advice such as Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit and Carers Allowance, and can support with any over-50s issue.

Broomhill Library is staffed by volunteers who provide the library service in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The library offers Wi-Fi and the use of computers free to library members. Document scanning and copying is available together with local newspapers, jigsaw puzzles, audio books, CDs, DVDs and language tapes alongside traditional book lending.
