A support group with a difference. 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer is a a community-based initiative to encourage those living with and beyond cancer, families, friends and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5k Your Way parkrun event.
Help to maintain independent living at home for older people. The service provides up to three months of free support, maximising income levels, advocating for aids and adaptations at home, and providing links to appropriate local groups and activities.
Breast Cancer Care is a national charity that provides information and support for anyone affected by breast cancer. We provide services and support through our website, over the telephone and through our face to face services. Our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer and our Moving Forward Courses are provided here in Sheffield.
Breathe Easy is your local support group for anyone with a lung condition, including carers, family and friends. You are welcome to join us at meetings featuring guest speakers and also our singing group which is very popular and this activity helps to improve your breathing and well being.

Our Cancer Buddies are a group of trained volunteers who have either had cancer themselves or have cared for someone with cancer who can phone you or meet face to face to offer some additional support. Because they have been in a similar situation, they can understand what it is like to deal with a cancer diagnosis as a patient or as a partner or family member. This support is free.
At Cavendish Cancer Care we support local people who are living with cancer. We give them and their families the chance to talk in confidence and offer complementary therapies and counselling. Our service is free. We aim to see people within 5 days.
Challenge Cancer Through Adventure is a Peak District based charity run entirely by volunteers. We help people who are based in our region who are living with cancer or a life threatening illness to change their outlook, rebuild confidence and regain control of their lives by undertaking an outdoor adventure challenge.

Our Sheffield Haematology Support Group is a positive and supportive group for those who have a blood cancer diagnosis. The group offers friendship and support, a space to talk through your feelings, or just have a laugh with people who know what you are going through. Due to Covid-19, this service is currently virtual.
SOHAS is a registered charity that has existed for 40 years to help people who either live and/or work in Sheffield who are having difficulty at work either because of their health condition or because work is causing them problems with their health. We have advisers working in several GP surgeries in Sheffield and if we don't have an adviser at your surgery we will see you in our office.
