Crafting the Short Story: Adventures in Creative Reading and Writing

Thursdays 6:15pm to 8:15pm, beginning March 14 2019 (10 Weeks)
On this 10 week course we'll read some of the best short fiction from round the world and use this as inspiration and a teaching tool for your own writing. You will meet others with a passion for literature and flex your imagination and creativity. Build your confidence and analytical skills through weekly structured reading and writing exercises.

Sculpture and Hand-building with Krishna Alageswaran

Spring/Summer Landscapes with Mark Beachell

Mark will lead you through the techniques of artists such as Turner, David Hockney, the Impressionists and lesser-known local artists such as Stanley Royle. Focusing on using acrylics you will be shown how the masters worked and how to interpret these techniques into a style all of your own.
