Broomhill Library is staffed by volunteers who provide the library service in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The library offers Wi-Fi and the use of computers free to library members. Document scanning and copying is available together with local newspapers, jigsaw puzzles, audio books, CDs, DVDs and language tapes alongside traditional book lending. The library also offers ex-stock and donated books for sale.

The Digital Inclusion Project works to tackle the problem of digital exclusion across Sheffield. There are no start or end dates, just ongoing advice and support tailored to the needs of individual learners. The project is funded by Sheffield City Council and delivered by Heeley Trust.
