Building Bonds Project
The Building Bonds Project is designed to help families and their children to be close, especially in times of need or trouble. We fit, lend and donate slings and carriers to families in financial hardship, those with difficult social circumstances, with mental health needs, to children with special needs or enduring prolonged stays in hospital or with life limiting illnesses.

Cerebro Ltd - Autism, ADHD and Learning Difficulties Assessment Service
We offer expert, multidisciplinary assessment for children and young people who may have a neuro-developmental disorder such as Autism (ASD), ADHD or Learning Difficulties. We are also able to offer assessments for adults (over 18).

Changing Faces
The Changing Faces' Yorkshire and the Humber service, funded by Children in Need, helps support children, young people and their families, who have a mark, scar or condition that affects their appearance.

Children in Care Council
The Children in Care Council represents the views of children and young people in care. The Care Council is made up of 13-18 year olds who want to improve things for themselves and others in care.
Family Fund
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families on low incomes raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. We believe that all families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people should have the same choices, quality of life, opportunities and aspirations as other families.
Family Rights Group

From Dads To Dads
Forging Families is a Sheffield charity that works to support, inform and act as a voice for Sheffield families. We were frequently told by dads that there was very little information about pregnancy, birth and becoming a dad. Dads told us that they often felt like “second rate” parents when it came to maternity services, the name itself stating that it is for women only.
Haven
Haven is the only organisation in Sheffield existing solely to support children affected by domestic abuse. We provide children and young people with support and care through the provision of specialist services, education and research. We also provide training for professionals.


Hutchinson Deafblind Trust
Sylvia Hutchinson from Huddersfield spent years trying to develop services for her son, John, who was deafblind. She recognised the unique need of those with a combined vision and hearing loss and the challenges faced by their families. It was her wish that the proceeds of her estate be used to help others in Yorkshire who find themselves in the same situation.
The charity was registered in 2009 by a small group of dedicated Trustees who wish to honour Sylvia’s wishes by raising awareness of and supporting those who are deafblind and their carers.

Nacoa (National Association for Children of Alcoholics)

Phoenix Futures Family Service
Phoenix Futures' National Specialist Family Service is a unique service offering support for the whole family.
Children live on-site with their parents (single parents or couples).
Children (up to the age of 10) have their development supported and assessed in our OFSTED registered nursery (rated Outstanding).
Parents are able to benefit from treatment to address their drug and alcohol issues and develop their parenting skills whilst remaining the primary carers for their children.
The service is a child-friendly family environment in a suburban part of Sheffield, just a short walk from local amenities and shops.
Working with children, parents and local authority social services we provide an environment that enables families to stay together.

Refuge
Refuge offers a range of services which give women and children access to professional support whatever their situation, including a freephone 24-hour national domestic violence helpline (0808 2000 247) and a network of refuges across the country.

SAYiT
SAYiT works with young people and professionals to make real lives better. We provide practical support around LGBT+ life, sexual health, HIV and mental wellbeing, while our training helps organisations improve knowledge and address discrimination.
