Staffing arrangements details

All of our staff have disability awareness training . All drivers and escorts have a current DBS check. If specialist training is required, we will train our staff to meet your child’s needs.

Staff training to support children/young people with SEND

The majority of our journeys have an escort who accompanies the driver to ensure that every child’s needs are met. Before we transport any child we ask parent / carers to complete a transport information form (TIF) this tells us the vital needs information of your child. This information is then passed onto the driver and escort to ensure your child has a safe journey and their needs are met.

How do you communicate with your service users?
Directly with parents/carers
Communicating with service users details

We have open communication with parent and carers, this normally via written letters, e-mails, website information. The transport office can be contacted by telephone between 7:00am to 6:00pm week days (excluding Bank holidays). All our driving crews are also issued with mobile phones. We also attend the Sheffield parent / carer forum where transport issues are discussed.
