WEA - Writing for Children Course

Summary
This course will give students the tools, skills and background knowledge to enable them to write for children of all ages in a range of genres.


Description

Through this course students will have the opportunity to experiment with writing for children of different ages and in different genres including fiction, memoir, poetry and script. The course will involve analysis of current writing for children and provide the opportunity to develop the necessary skills (language, voice, narrative structure) to write for this audience in addition to providing opportunities for feedback on ongoing writing projects.
