The Dyspraxia Foundation is a national, registered charity with its administrative and fundraising centre in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.  Founded in 1987, it is financed entirely by membership subscriptions and private donations. 

The Foundation acts as a resource and information centre for those wishing to learn more about dyspraxia, its diagnosis and treatment.  The Foundation operates a telephone help line, publishes information on dyspraxia, maintains a website with useful information, organises conferences.  The Foundation supports people in the community through a national network of over 35 Local Groups.  In addition the Foundation supports affected adults.
