Arbourthorne Strength and Stamina Chair Aerobics

Summary
The Strength and Stamina Chair Aerobics provides a friendly environment for people to do some gentle exercise. It’s a place for friends to meet over a cup of tea and enjoy some fun games.

Description

Many, but not all, of the people who come to the group have some mobility issues.  Some might use a walking stick, a walker or a wheelchair.  Anyone over 50 years old can come along and we have many people in their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.  We would also like some people in their 100’s to show the youngsters how it’s done!

We welcome people with mild to moderate dementia and their carer’s.  Run by dementia trained staff and volunteers the group is helping to meet the needs of local people in the Manor Castle and Arbourthorne areas of Sheffield.  This activity is part of the People Keeping Well (PKW) network.

Transport maybe available.  Please get in touch.
