Conflict Resolution Education (CRESST) works in partnership with child and youth centred organisations. CRESST delivers structured sessions in non-violent conflict resolution, and trains children and young people to become peer mediators (Young Peacemakers). CRESST works in primary schools, secondary schools and youth organisations.
CRESST empowers young people and the adults who work with them with the skills to resolve conflict constructively.
Young Peacemakers Project - CRESST's longest running project, is for primary schools. older children learn skills which they then use to help younger pupils resolve disputes effectively. Training is fror pupils, staff, parents and governos. Schools can sustain the programme using CRESST's materials.
Youth Resolving Conflict - the secondary school programme includes workshops on online conflict, conflict resolution skills and developing a model of conflict coaching whereby older students support younger ones.
