Local Offer

Description

Multi Agency Support Teams (MAST) work locally with children, young people and families to provide a range of services which help improve well-being, school attendance, learning, behaviour and health care.

They aim to promote the early identification of children with additional needs. By delivering high quality preventative and supportive services to enable children to continue living successfully with their families and communities.

MASTs provide advice and support for children and families on a range of issues and can help with:

  • parenting skills - helping parents build a close relationship with children and encourage better behaviour.
  • Being healthy and happy - supporting families to be healthier, happier and more confident, including:
  • Help with children’s learning and behaviour - supporting children through school which can help improve the way they behave.
  • Attending School - helping to improve both children’s attendance at school and their performance.
  • Finding services - helping families to find out what services are available
