What the course covers - This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s settings including early years and social care.
Who can apply - Adults aged 19 years or older. People who want to work or are already working with children and young people in early year's education or social care settings.

How to apply - This is a practical course, designed to build and develop your competencies. You must be 19 years of age or older and working in a child care setting, either as a paid or as a volunteer.
We do not have set entry requirements, however you will be asked to attend a Pre-enrolment meeting, to discuss your individual learning needs and help you to decide if this is the correct course for you.
