Places for People - Windmill Lane Project

Description

Part of the registered charity Places for People, the Windmill Lane Project houses families referred to them by Sheffield City Council's Housing Solutions. The project manages 19 two and three bedroom fully furnished houses where families are housed temporarily for 6 months. Tenancy support is provided during this time.

Project workers provide help and support in searching for a new home, applying for benefits etc. as well as tenancy support to tackle the problems that may have led to a family becoming homeless or vulnerable.

The project promotes tenant involvement and runs children's play sessions and a gardening club for the children of families involved in the project.

Address details can not be shared until a referral has been received and accepted via Sheffield City Council.
