Sheffield and District Family History Society

Summary
We meet on the 3rd Monday in the month 7.30-9.00pm. at Cemetery Road Baptist Church. Since its beginning the Society has been promoting the study of local, social and family history in the area, for the benefit and education of the public; help is on hand. The Society has a library held at Sheffield Archives, and a Speaker is present at our monthly meetings, details of which are below -


Description

The meetings are friendly and fairly informal with tea/coffee and biscuits available before the Speaker starts at 7:30pm.   Come along, everyone is welcome!

The next three Speaker topics are as follows:

17 February 2020 - The Maybrick Murder by Alan Hancock

16 March 2020 - Victorian Killers - What Killed Normal Folk? by Brian Smailes.. this will follow the AGM, which is for Members Only

20 April 2020 - History of the Humble Fork by Paul Iscard (Friends of Portland Works)
