Befriending service

Summary
Share a cuppa and a chat with one of our friendly volunteers. Open to anyone over 18 in Foxhill, Parson Cross, Southey Green and Grenoside. We do home visits or can meet you in a comfortable location such as a local coffee shop.

Description

Our Reaching Out Community Befriending Service launched in 2018. It is open to anyone over 18 who feels lonely or socially isolated, for whatever reason, and could benefit from a cuppa and a chat with a friendly face. We do home visits and, as people build their confidence, can try out activities such as arts & crafts or baking. In time we can accompany you to try out activities at our community centre on Wolfe Road. We can also arrange a comfortable venue to meet in if preferred.
If this sounds of interest please contact Rosalind for an informal chat
