Description

A charity supporting everyone affected by cancer; patients, carers, family or friends. Offers a drop-in service to see healthcare professionals experienced in cancer care, providing information  on different types of cancers and treatments, benefits advice, practical and psychological support.

The funds they raise also support vital, pioneering research and clinical trials led by the exceptional medical experts at Weston Park Cancer Centre. The charity aims to care in every sense for patients and family members, with them at every step, for free.

Weston Park Cancer Support, located on 23 Northumberland Road, Sheffield is currently closed due to coronavirus. But our support services continue, even when our centre is closed.

Our helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. When you call we are here to help with:

  • Advice from healthcare professionals about signs and symptoms of cancer.
  • Legal and financial advice including information about benefits, which you may be eligible for.
  • Practical help, such as support with delivering shopping.
  • A listening ear, if you're feeling low, need emotional support or just want to talk to someone.

It's free, confidential and open to anyone affected by cancer.
