We have a formal admissions procedure and visits are welcomed from all interested parties.  Please contact the school directly if you would like to arrange a visit.

The local authority will send the child’s documentation to the school and the school’s admissions team will identify if Hall Cliffe Primary can meet their needs. If we are unable to meet the child’s needs we will support the referring parties by recommending a provision which is more suitable.

Children who the admissions team feel meet the admissions criteria will be offered an interview at school. The referring parties, parents/guardians and the child will be invited to attend this interview. The interview, held at the school, will include a tour of school and some informal assessments.

If the pupil is accepted, an offer letter will then be sent to the relevant parties with a possible start date and fees.

Around 6 to 8 weeks after the child begins, a post admission review will be held to look at their progress, resources and identify any other needs.  The Individual Care and Education Plan will also be finalised at this meeting.
