VIDA Sheffield is a women's organisation dedicated to raising awareness of domestic and sexual abuse issues, and in particular Violence Against Women & Girls [VAWG]. We deliver specialist services and bespoke training and consultancy, to promote a more consistent and co-ordinated response to those affected by abuse, and preventative work to tackle the underlying causes.
Our training: the Vida website provides dates and learning outcomes for our specialist training programmes, which can be tailored to the needs of your staff team or service user groups
Our services:
Eva Therapy Service for women and girls affected by abuse and trauma: one to one counselling and therapy, and structured group work programmes
Eva Women's Support Group - fortnightly craft based activities and support workers

VIDA also administer the ‘Womens No Recourse Fund’ to provide assistance to women that are destitute with ‘no recourse to public funds’ after leaving an abusive spouse – always in need of donations and standing orders!
