My name is Valentina and I am originally from Naples, a town in southern Italy.
I have an extensive educational background in Linguistics, Languages and Cultures and I have just submitted my PhD thesis in Latin American Literature at the University of Sheffield. For the last four years, I have been teaching Foreign Languages, Translation and Latin American Culture at the University of Sheffield and at various schools in Sheffield. Also, I lived for three years in Spain where I have been an English and Italian teacher at a language academy.
Teaching people of different ages and of various cultural backgrounds has helped me to respond to different needs and to different paces of learning. I provide a wide range of educative activities to ensure that students learn a foreign language in a dynamic and friendly environment.
Lessons usually take place in my house in Hunters’ Bar but tuitions can be given in a café or at students’ home.
