Sheffield Astronomical Society is an amateur astronomical society which provides a place for everyone who is interested in astronomy and space to meet regularly. Also provides outreach educational visits to community groups and public observing sessions in the Sheffield area. A registered charity.

Session Information: Speaking events are held at the Ranmoor Parish Centre
Stargazing events are usually held at the Sportsman Inn on Redmires Road over the winter months.
Sungazing events are usually held at the Sheffield Botanical Gardens over the summer months.
