Broomhill Library is staffed by volunteers who provide the library service in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The library offers Wi-Fi and the use of computers free to library members. Broomhill Library is staffed by volunteers who provide the library service in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The library offers Wi-Fi and the use of computers free to library members. Document scanning and copying is available together with local newspapers, jigsaw puzzles, audio books, CDs, DVDs and language tapes alongside traditional book lending. The library also offers ex-stock and donated books for sale.

The library provides seven computers (two dedicated for use by children), all with MS Office and Internet access, and access to scanner/printer.

On foot: From Broomhill town centre the Library can be found on the right some 50 metres uphill from Fulwood Road

By bus: Broomhill is served by bus routes 52 and 120

By car: Taptonville Road can be entered from Fulwood Road (left turn only) or from Hallamgate Road. Parking is not available at the Library. Unrestricted on-street parking commences in Taptonville Road some 100 metres up the hill from the Library.
