Description

Aspire Community Enterprise (Sheffield) Ltd is a non-profit organisation that focuses on individuals who are marginalised within society. One of our primary aims is to support those who may not be in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) by providing training interventions and further developmental opportunities. We offer a work based learning environment in our Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recycling warehouse and computer refurbishment workshop with fully trained technicians.

Learning opportunities include warehousing, office administration, IT technician, recycling operative, personal development, preparation for work and employability skills.

Alongside work experience, we also offer ASDAN qualifications in Personal Development and Functional Skills (Maths and English). We have a dedicated training room which facilitates all academic projects, including presentation work, written assessments and creating personalised portfolios to evidence the client’s progress and abilities. We also provide clients with support and guidance in securing employment or further training opportunities to pursue after their placement at Aspire. This includes workshops in job searching, creating a CV, interview preparations, and finding suitable trainee-ships or apprenticeships. We support individuals from all backgrounds; all we ask is for their commitment to succeed.
