Bridgette Pearson provides a counselling and psychotherapy service, she has a Post Graduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy. She is a member of the British Association Of Counselling & Psychotherapy and subscribes to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Experienced in issues of childhood sexual abuse and sexual violence,
relationship issues, depression and anxiety. Counselling is an
opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings which might be affecting
many different areas of life. With care listening Bridgette will endeavour to support you in finding your own way through what is often complex and difficult to manage alone. Difficulties can feel overwhelming and although family and friends mean well, they can’t always offer the support we need, this is when talking to an experienced and skilled professional, can make a big difference.
Bridgette respects the specific needs and personal culture of each
individual. She is experienced in open ended, long term and time limited counselling and works with individuals, young people aged 16 years and over and adults of all ages.
