Description

Greave House Farm Trust is a not-for-profit company running as a Care
Farm in Stocksbridge supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.  The Trust provides a supportive environment for clients who would like to take part in day opportunities and outdoor activities such as gardening and growing food and looking after animals.

The Trust can support people to take part in cooking, baking, making jam and other life skills, as well as a variety of craft activities. There is also an opportunity to help sell the farm produce and craft items on stalls at various events. You will also be able to join in other social events such as camping, parties and fundraising. The service is very flexible and open to new ideas so if there is something particular you are interested in, let us know.

Notes

We take into consideration your needs and interests and will try to tailor some activities but essentially we are a Care Farm so much of the work will involve being outside in all weather conditions, looking after our small collection of animals and growing food to sell. We do have an indoor space if the weather is really bad and can do activities such as bird box making, furniture restoration, baking, jam making, candle making etc
