Grow Sheffield is a not for profit community organisation promoting urban organic food growing. They provide information and access to training and resources as well as organising social and networking events, visits and skill-sharing opportunities. They raise awareness on the issues of sustainability, reducing food miles, carbon footprints, biodiversity and healthy eating.
The Abundance Project is also supported by Grow Sheffield and focuses on the harvest and distribution of surplus fruit growing in the Sheffield area in summer and autumn, as well as the planting and maintenance of fruit trees (see separate entry).
If you would like to get involved in any of the Grow Sheffield projects, contribute to the Sheffield Food Network or volunteer for a growing or harvesting activity please get in touch.
