Fabric Printing: Life in an Oak Tree with Mia James

Summary
At this workshop, we will block print onto fabric using handmade printing blocks inspired by life in an oak tree.

Description

We will start by printing using a range of oak leaf blocks and experiment with colour/layering and creating repeat patterns. Then we will work on a larger piece and using masking and layering create an illustrative print using my blocks, which include a tawny owl, a jay, a squirrel and a stag beetle! Materials are provided but you may wish to bring your own fabric (must be light coloured) if you have a particular project in mind, for example- cushion covers, lampshade, curtains, t-shirts etc.
