Lane End Farm Trust is based on a working farm situated in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. The farm provides a simple environment of real quality where disabled and disadvantaged young people can be at one with nature and connect with their beautiful surroundings and the farm animals.
Lane End Farm Trust caters for young adults from all walks of life, including those with physical impairments and/or sensory impairments, learning disabilities, mental health issues, challenging behaviour and people on the autistic spectrum. As well as providing new experiences for young adults from inner city, deprived, abused or neglected backgrounds.
The farm offers excellent outdoor farm and other activities, and encourages personal development in ways which have proved to be particularly successful for young people with autistic spectrum disorders.
