Each year Buttle UK provides grants to children and young people living in poverty.
Buttle UK operates grant programmes aimed at giving vulnerable children a fighting chance in life:
Small Grants Programme - provides essential items for children and young people whose development, health and well-being are at risk. It offers basic household items, such as a cooker, fridge freezer, a washing machine as well as beds and bedding for children, to families in poverty.
School Fees Programme - funds places for vulnerable children (aged 11 and over) at boarding schools that provide a safe and supportive environment. It enables children with medical, emotional or social difficulties to gain a stable and more supportive secondary education.
Students & Trainees Programme - awards financial support to young people (aged 16-20), living in supported housing or independently, estranged from their family, who are engaged in either education or in training. The main assistance is towards their course/training however household items can also be considered.
