Crookesmoor Community Forum

Informal community group for anyone living or working in the Crookesmoor area

We are an informal community group aiming to strengthen relationships between local residents and other stakeholders in the Crookesmoor area. We hold bi-monthly meetings to discuss planning and improving our local environment, such as the shopping area on Barber Road. We also look at transport, pedestrian and parking issues, and liaise with police and student representatives. Currently, meetings are held bi-monthly on Thursday evenings at the Zest Centre, 18 Upperthorpe, which is accessible to wheelchair users. We tend the woodland between Sydney Road and Springvale Road and hold regular litter-picks in the area. We have an email network for members of the group and we have occasional social gatherings.
