Permanence and Throughcare Service

Description

The Permanence and Throughcare Service is part of Sheffield City Council and is a city-wide specialist service working with unaccompanied asylum seeker children, looked after children and care leavers within Sheffield and other parts of the county.  

The service provides statutory social care duties to work to maximise outcomes for looked after children and care leavers.  Has a strong developmental role both regionally and nationally and with local partners and agencies, it aims to develop consistent services to support young people leaving care and through the transition to adulthood.  Health professional or Social Services referral.
