Manor and Castle Development Trust - Home Support

Manor and Castle Development Trust (MCDT) offers home support for adults with learning disabilities, physical and/or sensory impairment, mental health problems and respite for carers.

Offers help in the home such as cleaning, shopping, accompanied shopping, decluttering, support with personal admin, support to arrange access to medical appointments, support for discharge from hospital, support with independent living, support to liaise with statutory providers, support to access social activity and groups, advocacy and befriending in own home.

MCDT offers help to access their own social activities including community cinema, outings and trips, meals, coffee mornings, breakfast clubs, mens groups, health walks, adult learning opportunities, local forums, over 50s network, mental health support groups, community safety workshops, health and wellbeing workshops, cook and eats, games clubs, arts and crafts. Support to access city wide activites including theatre, sports, museums, events etc.

MCDT's employment team provide personalised services including job club, universal job match, CV writing, interview techniques, EPPS and STEPS personal development programmes, volunteering opportunities, work experience.

£13 per hour for home care. Sessions with MCDT are priced individually.
