Development project run by Churches Together in the Lowedges area. Sells second hand clothes and goods and runs a drop-in cafe.
Also runs a befriending service for asylum seekers and refugees in the Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe areas. Works in partnership with Sheffield City Council to deliver community health programmes with a Health Improvement Manager based at the Terminus. Health improvement activities take place at a range of venues.
Some of the health activities are suitable for people with long-term conditions and disabilities. Most sessions are free including the women's Conversation Club which runs every Tuesday from The Michael Church. There is also a knit and natter group and art group which run from the cafe. In addition to this we run a community lunch every Wednesday at the Sheltered accommodation on Gresley road and also a food growing project which runs every other Saturday in the garden of Lowedges Fire Station. Please telephone or email for more information.
The Terminus Café is on Low Edges Road, S8 (Wednesday-Friday). Registered charity and limited company. Self or any referral.
