Sheffield Cathedral Choir

Summary
We are currently recruiting boys and girls to be Choristers in our Cathedral choir.

Description

Children who become Choristers at Sheffield Cathedral find a warm welcome. They quickly become part of a community that is inclusive and friendly, continuing a tradition which dates back hundreds of years. The musical education that our Choristers receive is universally admired, and their experience here, and the skills they develop of concentration and teamwork, help equip them for success throughout their lives.

Informal auditions for children are held throughout the year. In prospective choristers, we look for signs of a musical ear, the ability to hear and hold a simple tune, and a spark in their eyes. No previous singing or musical experience is required to join the choir.

For further information and an information pack please see the contact details below. With your message, please include parent/guardian name and contact details (email and/or telephone) and the name and details of any prospective chorister that is interested in being in Sheffield Cathedral Choir.

Thank you.
