Description

Wortley Hall Walled Garden is a 3-acre walled garden with organic certification by the Soil Association. The garden is restored and managed by Heeley City Farm. Quality organic fruit and vegetables are grown, which are sold to local restaurants and shops to raise funds for Heeley City Farm. There are regular volunteer days, workshops and open day events. Heeley City Farm is a registered charity.

Notes

Volunteers don't need previous gardening experience as we will provide training as required. We work outdoors in all weathers, though some tasks are available in our polytunnels if the weather is very bad. We can usually provide light tasks as well as heavier manual work for those who would like this.
