Access Space

Description

Access Space, in Sheffield city centre, is for people interested in art, design, computers, recycling, music, electronics, photography and more, to share and develop skills and work on creative, enterprising and technical projects.

#FightForYourRightToRepair, a DIY repair day, is every Wednesday, 11am-5pm, (except during August).

Refab Space, the DIY FabLab, is open every Thursday, 11am-5pm, (except during August). With its suite of rapid prototyping tools, for instance, a laser cutter and 3D printer, this is a resource for artists, experimenters, business start-ups and the community as a whole.

The space is also runs events, and it's available for hire as a venue, and as a mailing address. See the Facebook page for details of exhibitions and arts residencies, performances, open days for free technical help and other events and workshops - including digital creativity workshops for people on the autistic spectrum, and fabrication for artists.
