I am an enthusiastic science teacher committed to providing the highest standards of additional support. I specialise in teaching biology and chemistry as that is where my passion lies. I am confident that my caring nature, enthusiasm for the sciences and ability to relate to young people will enable me to develop and empower my pupils to achieve beyond their expectations.
My aim is to encourage my pupils to develop their intellectual curiosity and confidence to articulate their prior knowledge, ensuring continuity of education and excellent guidance. Naturally, pupils progress further when they have consolidated theory as they can confidently apply the knowledge to challenging exam questions.
Fully qualified to teach general sciences at KS3, all sciences at KS4 and biology at A-Level since July 2014.
I have taught in inner London schools between 2013 - 2017. I then worked abroad for two years at POWIIS in Malaysia (voted best international school in 2018 by TES). Through this I gained experience in teaching the Cambridge IGCSE combined Science course.
I relocated back to the UK and currently offer remote tuition.
Over my six years of teaching, I’ve taught various exam board syllabuses which made me adaptable to creating new schemes of work. I am confident I can adapt my lessons and resources to assist your child's progress in the sciences.
