Intergenerational Skill Swap (For volunteers aged between 10 to 49)

Description

The project aims to get people together from different age’s groups.

If you are age between 15 to 49 years old you can volunteer by sharing your skills, hobbies or experience of any topic with someone older, also in return you can get invaluable experience in other fields. Activities such as gardening, baking, knitting, painting, and engineering among others can be experienced.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has available 1hr a week and who wishes to share time with someone older who might be socially isolated.

This opportunity covers a training course from Age Better in Sheffield programme and from our charity The Royal Voluntary Service you will get your own online training.

This is a fantastic step into a voluntary role which will give you an extra burst of employment opportunities and the feel good factor.
