Description

Sheffield Star Mandarin School is a non-profit organisation, providing tuition of Mandarin Chinese, the official language of China, to children and young people aged 4 to 18 years, on Saturdays during school term time.

The school offers two streams of teaching and learning programmes that are open to all, for English-speaking children, as well as for Chinese heritage-speaking children. All levels of Chinese language are welcome from absolute beginners to the advanced. Tuition and preparation courses are also offered for gaining GCSE Chinese and GCE (A Level) Chinese.

In addition, the School offers art classes, Maths, Chinese dance, Singing and Kung Fu.

Courses are held at Bartolome House, School of Law, University of Sheffield, S3 7ND.

The school is an affiliated member to the Confucius Institute, the University of Sheffield.
