We provide email, telephone and online support for those affected by bladder cancer. We produce a range of materials for both patients, family members and medical professionals involved in the treatment of the disease.
Fight Bladder Cancer (FBC) is a UK charity founded and governed by bladder cancer patients and carers. FBC strives for better outcomes and quality of life for those affected by bladder cancer. FBC gives patients and families information and advice and builds programmes that improve bladder cancer treatment and care.
The charity's work is based around the following four objectives:
- To provide support services to patients and carers, including our network of Fight Clubs and Bladder Buddies
- To run awareness campaigns and share information to help prevent bladder and improve early diagnosis
- To influence policy makers and healthcare professionals to ensure that changes are made in NHS care which result in improved services and better quality of life for people with bladder cancer
- To shape bladder cancer research with the aim of achieving earlier diagnosis in the future and less aggressive but more effective treatments
We are a friendly organisation and look to support as many people affected by the disease as possible.
