Little Saints Nursery

Summary
We are a charitable not for profit nursery, a committee run by parent volunteers. Our trained staff offer support, and teaching to the children in our care, through mentoring, high-level training and working as a team. Little saints provide a high ratio of staff to children, working closely with you (and at times outside agencies) to meet your child's needs and development, through play and fun.

Description

A small, warm and friendly little nursery, tucked away in the suburbs of Totley. 24 places per day offering education and learning through play. We welcome children from the age of 2 yrs (including 2yr old Free Early Learning).

We offer snack choices and promote independence skills, school readiness and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Little Saints has a high ratio of adult practitioners to children and are all trained in First Aid and Safe Guarding.

We are based in the School House on the grounds of Totley All Saints school and although independent from the school, we forge close links with them, using the school hall for movement and music and the Forest school for stories and singing.

Little Saints is a Charitable Non Profit making Nursery for children aged 2 yrs - 4 yrs.  OFSTED REG 300901

Communicating with service users details

We use a Nursery to Home book in which we record activities of the day and anything that we may need to communicate to parent/carers about their child.

Team members interact with most carers on a daily basis either at drop off or pick up time.

We hold parent/carer evenings as well as termly reports, settling in reports and we use a Key Person System which works really well for us. We also use email, texting, telephoning, website and news letters. Our parent carers are important to us as we see them as our childrens first educators.
