CandYP 1-1 sessions: CandYP consists of one-to-one sessions facilitated by trained workers. These sessions allow children (5 -16 years of age) and their mums (or other significant adults) to communicate together about the abuse that has happened in their lives.
Bouncing Back Groups (6 x weekly sessions): Our Bouncing Back Group is for young people aged 11-16 years old. This consists of group sessions over six weeks, and can help young people to learn and understand more about abuse, and to share their feelings and experiences with others who have been in similar circumstances. It helps young people to feel less alone with their feelings, to connect with others, to express their emotions in safe, healthy ways, and to feel stronger and more settled in themselves.
Helping Hands: Helping Hands is an 8 week group work programme run by Haven in primary schools across Sheffield. It is a preventative eductation programme to help children think about their feelings and help them learn ways to keep themselves safe. If you would like more information or would like us to deliver Helping Hands in your school, please contact us.
Family Groups (one off group sessions or fun days):We also run sessions in the school holidays for families to come together and take part in activities, games, arts and crafts or explore issues around emotional resilience, personal safety, how to talk about difficult feelings/thoughts, and playing together. We have had fantastic feedback from participants in these groups.
