Counselling and Psychotherapy in Sheffield - Greystones Counselling

Description

Greystones Counselling is based in Sheffield S11 and is run by Carol Sexty, a qualified and experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Supervisor, registered and accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) - a specialist therapy that is recognised in the UK and around the world as a treatment for traumatic experiences.

Counselling can help with many of the difficulties and problems that life brings, including anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties and difficulties with confidence and self-esteem. It provides a safe and non judgemental space to explore any difficulties or problems that are affecting your life.

We might work together short-term, perhaps a few sessions, or you may wish to work longer-term, over several months or even one-two years, especially when you want to explore more difficult things from childhood - for example abusive experiences.

When you contact me we can make a first appointment to meet and then talk about what brings you to counselling and how counselling might help. This will give you the opportunity to see what it feels like to be talking to me face-to-face, ask any questions and together we will look at the way forward.
