We all have a responsibility to keep all children and young people safe. A child or young person having a disability, or needing additional support should never stop someone acting on child protection concerns.
Everyone who works with disabled children and young people must understand how to protect them against people who would take advantage of their increased vulnerability.
Immediate danger
If a child or young person is in immediate danger please contact the Police by calling 999.
