Carers Support Group - Gleadless Valley

This is a space for people who provide unpaid care to come and meet other carers, socialise and get support. Facilitated by REACH South Sheffield and the Sheffield Carers Centre, it's a great place to go if you're new to caring, or if you've been caring for a long time.


Carewatch has been providing home care in Sheffield since 2000 and is one of the largest care providers in Sheffield employing over 170 care workers and providing over 3500 hours of home support to service users each week. Service users include older people, adults with learning disabilities, physical impairments and/or sensory impairments and those in receipt of Direct Payments.

Cavendish Cancer Care - Buddy Scheme

Our Cancer Buddies are a group of trained volunteers who have either had cancer themselves or have cared for someone with cancer who can phone you or meet face to face to offer some additional support. Because they have been in a similar situation, they can understand what it is like to deal with a cancer diagnosis as a patient or as a partner or family member. This support is free.

Cavendish Cancer Care - Children and Young People's Service

Cavendish Cancer Care offers a specialist service to children and young people up to the age of 18 whose lives have been affected by cancer. This includes those who have had cancer themselves as well as those who have been affected by a diagnosis of cancer within their family or friends. This service is free.
