River Stewardship Company

River Stewardship Company is a social enterprise that offers a maintenance and management service for the waterways around the greater Yorkshire area. Through our Riverlution programme we run volunteer days on the Lower Don Valley every Tuesday that everyone is welcome to come along to.

Sheffield ZenSpace formerly Sheffield Zen Society

Sheffield ZenSpace, formerly Sheffield Zen Society, is for all people interested in Zen Meditation, regardless of their religion, sect, or secular preference. The Basis of the group is modern Rinzai, but at these lay-meetings practices are mainly secular. The facilitator was originally a Soto monk, but is now practicing Rinzai.

Whirlow Hall Farm Trust

Provision for post sixteen clients with additional learning needs. 9:30am-3pm, Monday to Friday, fifty weeks of the year. Caring for the farm animals, planting and growing crops, independent living skills, cooking sessions, work experience in our shop and café, natural art and craft sessions, Yoga, AQA unit awards, on-site residential stays, all in a peaceful farm and countryside environment.
